Under the new Management and leadership of Jonas Sigle, a highly successful contractor and designer with over three decades of experience in the construction and renovation industry in New York; Heights Woodworking is now serving clients more efficiently.
At the forefront of the finest wood crafting arena, Heights Woodworking is one of the few fabricators in New York that has perfectly served its clients. Amor Villar established Heights Carpenter and Paint Shop in 1946 with a vision to serve the Brooklyn neighborhood with the finest fabrication of doors, windows, cabinets, and stairs. The business expanded over the years in the five boroughs of New York City.
Jonas Sigle took over Heights Woodworking which brings a unique design vision to each project, blending functionality with aesthetics to create spaces that truly stand out. Jonas’s expertise extends beyond construction, with a strong ability to communicate effectively with clients, architects, and engineers, ensuring a smooth and collaborative process from start to finish. Jonas’s commitment to excellence and client satisfaction has earned him a reputation as a trusted professional in the industry.

Our Story
Founded In 1946, Heights Woodworking serves homeowners, designers, architects and contractors throughout the New York City area. In our 14,000 square foot shop next to the Gowanus Canal, we take on woodworking projects large and small – from cutting Ikea shelves to high-end Manhattan storefronts. Everything we do is custom designed to your specifications and made by artisans with decades of woodworking experience.
